Grand Rivers Community Center located at 155 W. Cumberland St, behind 1st Kentucky Bank, across the street from Badgett Playhouse - turn east off of Hwy 453 across from Lighthouse Landing


Saturday, March 9 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. central time
This is a STRICT cut off time.
Grand Rivers Community Center

Directions:
Take exit 31 I-24, 3.3 miles on Hwy 453 South to Grand Rivers. Lighthouse Landing will be on the right, and Green Turtle Bay will be on the left (follow signs).

Pasta Buffet Dinner:
4:30 pm until 7ish Green Turtle Bay caters a great Pasta Dinner consisting of salad, pasta, meat and meatless sauces, desssert, and a drink for only $12. Salad only, $5. Kids under 12 eat FREE.Also, there are many places to eat at I-24 exit 4 Paducah on your way to Grand Rivers. If you are coming from the east on I-24 there are places at exit 40, exit 31.

Parking - Race Day:
Volunteers will be on hand at the intersection at Lighthouse Landing to direct you to parking. Please allow yourself enough time to make it to the start (could be as far as one half mile.


Race Start:
START at our normal time of 6:30 a.m. central time on Saturday, March 9, 2024. The start is .4 mile from packet pickup, across 453, past the sailboats, and down to the shore of Kentucky Lake Lighthouse Landing.
Please be at the starting line at least 10 minutes early.
NOTE: You will NOT need your lights to see where you are going once the race starts.

Porta Johns & Rest rooms: This is important!! Inside the Community Center there are a few rest rooms. The line could be VERY long there. There will be porta johns on the outside of the Community Center, and additional ones at the end of the parking lot before you cross 453 on your way to the start. There will be more at the start area. Last year, there was no waiting for the people who used the porta johns compared to the rest rooms in the Community Center. Just saying...

Race Finish:
Downtown Grand Rivers at the Grand Rivers Welcome Center (located at the intersection of J.H. O' Bryan Street and West Commerce St.)

Showers:
are available at Lighthouse Landing. Follow signs or ask for directions at the finish line. Bring your own towel!
